Jean-Yves Mitton - Mikros - Original pages (triptych)
Bring Your Collection to Life
Achetez de l'Art Paris is hosting a collectors' comic art exhibition-sale, from Thursday, September 17 to Saturday, October 3, 2026. This exhibition brings together original art pages and illustrations from our collectors' personal collections, offered for sale in a gallery setting.
Mikros, Outre-Monde
Published in 1985 in issue 78 of Titans, Opération Cerveau is the fourth and final part of the Outre-Monde story arc, one of the landmark tales in the Mikros series. Created by Jean-Yves Mitton and Marcel Navarro, the series follows Mikros, Saltarella, and Crabb, three heroes transformed into insect-like superhumans, in adventures blending science fiction, fantasy, and superheroes.
Jean-Yves Mitton delivers a spectacular story here, driven by dynamic staging and richly detailed artwork. His work stands out for its bold framing, highly expressive characters, and strong taste for science-fiction and superhero compositions, which greatly shaped Mikros's visual identity.
For this exhibition, we are pleased to present an exceptional set of the first three pages of Outre-Monde, Part 4: Opération Cerveau, including the title page. Together, these three pages offer a full sense of the story's continuity and the graphic power of Mitton's work, giving collectors a particularly rare sequence from one of Mikros's great story arcs.
