Iron Boy is Louis Clichy's first solo feature film, following his years at Pixar (WALL-E, Up) and co-directing two Asterix films with Alexandre Astier. Inspired by his own childhood in the Beauce in the 1980s, the film premiered at Cannes in the Un Certain Regard selection, then won awards at Annecy in 2026. It hits French theaters on October 14, 2026. Clichy champions traditional animation, with India ink linework and watercolor tones.
