Label 619!
Label 619 is a French creative studio, founded and directed by RUN from 2008 to 2019. It was then co-directed by RUN, Mathieu Bablet, Florent Maudoux, and Guillaume Singelin.
A literary collection published by Ankama Editions, it became an independent creative studio in 2019.
Sourya
Sourya was born in France but grew up in Laos, his country of origin. Passionate about drawing since childhood, he was heavily influenced by manga during his adolescence, particularly by masters like Toriyama, Miyazaki, and Takahashi. Upon returning to France, he pursued studies in animation, where he developed his graphic design skills and storytelling abilities.
He spent a year as an artist-in-residence at the Maison des Auteurs (Authors' House), during which he was noticed by Ankama and invited to work with Florent Maudoux on Rouge, the spin-off of Freaks' Squeele.
Subsequently, Sourya continued his journey in comics, notably working on projects for DoggyBags, and in 2018 published his first manga (for which he wrote and illustrated): Talli, Daughter of the Moon, a three-volume series.
