Cyril Pedrosa in XXL
In 2024, Cyril Pedrosa unveils Journal of a Battle, a hybrid project blending drawing and writing, inspired by a reflection on the Bayeux Tapestry.
Between June 2022 and December 2023, he created 90 large-scale, improvised drawings on paper scrolls—five per month—driven by introspection and the emotional tension of the moment. This monumental visual diary, stretching over 132 meters, is accompanied by a written narrative, an attempt to speak without betraying, to express anger, fear, joy, and inner truth without artifice.
Following a first presentation at the Espace Jacques Villeglé in Saint-Gratien, our Paris exhibition offers an exclusive and immersive experience into the world of a multifaceted artist, constantly exploring the boundaries between comics, contemporary art, and personal reflection.
