Label 619!
Label 619 is a French creative studio, created and directed by RUN from 2008 to 2019. Then co-directed by RUN, Mathieu Bablet, Florent Maudoux, and Guillaume Singelin.
Initially a literary collection published by Ankama Editions, it was later transformed into an independent creative studio starting in 2019.
The Carbone & Silicium Shock!
Artificial intelligence, transhumanism, ecological, economic and migratory crises... In his new graphic novel – published under Label 619 by Ankama Editions – the Franco-Belgian comics phenomenon Mathieu Bablet delivers a fantastic dystopian tale, in the logical continuation of his previous successes La Belle Mort and Shangri-La, some of whose original pages were already presented on Achetez de l’Art.
An Exceptional Page by Mathieu Bablet
Mathieu Bablet is a fan of horror films and B-movies. Freshly graduated from ENAAI in Chambéry, he sent the presentation file of his first comic book to Ankama Editions. His post-apocalyptic one-shot La Belle Mort was immediately noticed by RUN in 2011, who offered to publish it under his Label 619.
This was followed in 2013 by the breathtaking mythological fable Adrastée, published in two volumes and then as a collected edition in 2016. That same year came the sci-fi phenomenon Shangri-La, selected in 2017 at the Angoulême Festival.
In 2018, eager to lead a collective project, he launched the fantasy series Midnight Tales as editor-in-chief – a concept and format similar to DoggyBags. Two volumes per year were planned: one in spring, the other in autumn.
In August 2020, he offered readers Carbone & Silicium, a new ambitious comic book that once again impressed both critics and the public.
Shipping
Each artwork is carefully packaged and protected for shipment in an ultra-resistant tube.
Shipments within France and Europe are handled by Chronopost, for fast and secure next-day delivery before 1:00 PM. In Paris, delivery by courier is also possible, upon request and at no additional cost.
