About Sylvain Repos

Sylvain Repos is a French author and illustrator with a Master's degree in Visual Arts from La Sorbonne. He draws inspiration from works such as Akira, Blade Runner, and Mad Max, citing influences like Katsuhiro Otomo, Moebius, Rick Remender, and Brian K. Vaughan.

In 2020, he published his first series with Dargaud, *Yojimbot*, a work that blends post-apocalyptic science fiction with Japanese medieval aesthetics. Praised for its fast pace and powerful visual universe, the series currently consists of three volumes.

In 2024, he contributed to the fifth volume of LowReader, cementing his place among contemporary authors to watch.
