Spoogue, the Offbeat Fantasy World of Olivier Milhiet

A true graphic UFO, Spoogue blends wild heroic fantasy and an army of zombies in a burlesque medieval world caught between inquisition and black magic. Olivier Milhiet's first album, published by Delcourt in 2001 (Terres de Légendes collection).

The artist develops richly detailed artwork, driven by dynamic staging and a color palette that gives his fantasy world real personality. The album's original pages reflect this direct-color work, done in gouache, one of the graphic hallmarks of the series.

For this exhibition, we are pleased to present this original page by Olivier Milhiet from the first volume of Spoogue.
