Label 619 !
Label 619 is a French creative studio, created and directed by RUN from 2008 to 2019. Then, co-directed by RUN, Mathieu Bablet, Florent Maudoux, and Guillaume Singelin.
A literary collection published by Ankama Editions, it was then transformed into an independent creative studio starting from 2019.
The Carbon & Silicon shock !
Artificial intelligence, transhumanism, ecological, economic and migratory crises... the Franco-Belgian comic book phenomenon Mathieu Bablet offers us in his new graphic novel – published by Label 619 of Ankama Editions – a fantastic science fiction story as a logical continuation of his previous successes The Beautiful Death and Shangri-La, some original pages of which had already been presented to you on Achetez de l’Art.
An exceptional illustration by Mathieu Bablet
Mathieu Bablet is a fan of horror movies and B-series. Freshly graduated from ENAAI of Chambéry, he sends the presentation file of his first comic book to Ankama Editions. His post-apocalyptic one-shot, The Beautiful Death, is immediately spotted by RUN in 2011, who offers to publish it under his Label 619. Followed in 2013 by the breathtaking mythological fable Adrastée, published in two volumes then as a complete edition in 2016. The same year comes the sci-fi phenomenon Shangri-La selected in 2017 at the Angoulême festival. In 2018, fond of a collective project, he launches as project leader the fantastic series Midnight Tales, a concept and format similar to DoggyBags. Two volumes per year are planned: one in spring, the other in autumn. In August 2020, he offers readers Carbon & Silicon, a new ambitious comic book, which once again impresses critics and the public.
Shipping
Each artwork is carefully packaged and protected for its shipment in an ultra-resistant tube.
Shipments in France and Europe are handled by Chronopost, for fast and secure delivery, the day after dispatch before 1:00 PM. In Paris, delivery by courier is also possible, upon request and at no extra cost.
