Label 619 !
Label 619 is a French creative studio, founded and directed by RUN from 2008 to 2019. It was then co-directed by RUN, Mathieu Bablet, Florent Maudoux, and Guillaume Singelin.
A literary collection published by Ankama Editions, it was transformed into an independent creative studio in 2019.
Guillaume Singelin
Guillaume Singelin is the leading figure of a new wave of comic book artists who are revitalizing European comics. With a strong online presence, he was noticed by Run, who in 2009 offered him a position on the pre-production team for the Mutafukaz feature film at Ankama, after a trial run on the trailer for Mutafukaz Volume 0.
Already recognized for his drawing skills, Guillaume excels in storytelling, a field where his graphic ease enhances the originality of his panel layouts. The Grocery adventure began in 2011 with Aurélien Ducoudray, a brilliant five-volume urban epic featuring the Baltimore cornerboys gang. Simultaneously, he also worked on several issues of DoggyBags for Label 619.
He then returned to write and illustrate the one-shot P.T.S.D., published in the US by First Second and in France by Ankama under Label 619. Graphically magnificent, P.T.S.D. (post-traumatic stress disorder), in French "E.S.P.T.: état de stress post-traumatique", confronts the reality of war veterans who must try to overcome their trauma upon their return, without any help… In 2019, the highly anticipated Mutafukaz spin-off, Loba Loca, was released in several volumes, then as a complete edition !
