Vortex, the Pulp Science Fiction of Stan & Vince
A cult science fiction series published by Delcourt, Vortex was the very first "double series" in comics: two parallel storylines, drawn separately by Stan and by Vince before converging into one. Vortex's color covers are especially sought after, as they are the only originals in direct color.
For this exhibition, we are pleased to present this original double cover for Vortex by Stan & Vince. A particularly compelling piece for collectors, as its composition was conceived as a true illustration image, allowing full appreciation of the duo's work on this iconic universe. A piece that reflects the importance of Vortex in Stan & Vince's career and their remarkable command of science-fiction imagery.
